Model 718 DC Power Supply

The Model 718 power supply is a highly regulated DC power source intended for spectroscopy and other applications. It is capable of powering tungsten-halogen, ceramic and glowbar infrared light sources; this supply is flexible and extremely stable. Rated to 250W, exceptional performance is obtained by using a transistor series pass regulator circuit with an additional control circuit, providing <0.05% ripple to the source in use.
An interlock feature is provided on the lamp output and fan connectors. Power supply output can be terminated if user defined external conditions exist, for example, a cover safety switch or disconnected fan cables.
Each power supply can be operated from the front panel controls, or remotely via 0-6V analog input. A front panel Local/Remote switch allows users to select mode.
Separate connectors on rear of unit for Fan, Lamp (plus Interlock,) and Remote input.

Model 718 power supplies complete with U.S. AC power cord and cables fitting Model 621 lamp housing. Fan cable not required for infrared sources.
Special cables are available for use with Model 618 100W Tungsten-Halogen source.
