The Model 792 Multi-Axis Scan Controller has the capability of driving up to 4 stepper motors and reading 4 sets of EOT (End of Travel) limit switches with just one RS232 COM Port. This controller utilizes the same tried and true RS232 circuitry as the classic 789A-3 Controller. A few additional commands are all that is necessary to control up to 4 axes.

Each axis is individually controlled as far as direction, motor resolution, Limit Status LED, and current adjustment. The limit LED will show “Red” for the “High EOT” and Green for Low EOT (Occasionally used as a “Home Position”).

The 792 Controller features “Power” and “Active” (in motion) LED’s, as well as a “Motor “Enable/Disable” Switch. The Motor must be “Enabled” to have RS232 communication.
