The Multi-Axis Motor Driver Array shown above was designed to operate up to 8 motor driver modules per rack; positioning devices such as mirror manipulators, gratings, and slits. Front panel detail is shown at left. There are indicator LEDs for limits, home, fault, and status. There is also a master enable / disable switch for the axis.
Each rack assembly is fitted with a main “mother” board providing connections for each driver module as well as connectors for motors, encoders, & I/O control lines. A separate power supply provides all voltages necessary for proper operation. |
