UHV Crossed Flexure Slit Precision 4 Jaw Aperture
|
McPherson precision UHV crossed flexure slit provides two, closely adjacent, crossed slit pairs. Each pair of blades is bilaterally adjustable (opens about fixed center.) This slit can create square or rectangular apertures of great precision. A derivative of our precision UHV flexure slit this crossed design delivers a very clean design with no bearings and no sliding surfaces. Easily calibrated widths and removable micrometers facilitate baking.
Cooled slit jaws for this design use wire braid and massive, or actively water-cooled heat sinks, to transfer heat. Directly water cooled masks or occulters can be integrated. Electrically isolated slit jaws with wiring and a feed through for bias and current monitoring (for beam position, etc.) are available. Augment your purchase with McPherson slit accessories such as view port adapters, phosphor coated visualization flags, and mounting platforms.
