During July temperature here on the East Coast USA is about 31 C. Normally with only seven days of rain, July is a hot dry time. IR spectroscopy is important for chemical and mineralogical characterization, food safety and biologic analysis as well as measuring spectral signatures for night vision, combustion, and countermeasures. Compact infrared (IR) bolometer arrays are available for high resolution spectral imaging. For example, fifty distinct infrared bands may be measured simultaneously with McPherson 2061. Other infrared cameras with thermoelectric or cryogenic cooling may also be adapted.

Got short wavelengths? Check out our VUV silicon photodiode detector. This detector is available as a loose photodiode for use as you wish, or packaged in a housing that fits NW40 flanges. Signal starved? Two amplifiers are available, one is designed for outside, the other is safe for use in a vacuum. Absolute calibration in the 5~254 nanometer range is an available option.
