Vacuum UV Tunable Light Source
Numerous possibilities exist for coupling monochromatic light source systems to experimental systems. For work in the vacuum, and parts of the extreme ultraviolet, we offer a series of 'normalized' solutions. While these can't fit every experimental requirement, we use these as starting points when tailoring systems for you. For example, the combination: Model 632 Deuterium light source, Model 615 reflective condenser / energy optimizer, and Model 234/302 vacuum monochromator form a convenient and easy to use system for vacuum ultraviolet illumination or for spectrophotometry in the 120 to 350 nanometer region. Switching the source for the windowless Model 629 hollow cathode allows access to ionized-gas emission lines 30 nm and longer. We can tailor output optics for the wavelength or experimental requirements too.
